Flood Returns to Salisbury

Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South promotion-chasers Salisbury have re-signed experienced forward Chris Flood from Vanarama National League South side Slough Town.

The 29-year-old joined the Rebels from Gosport Borough in December 2016.

He had been a regular goalscorer for Basingstoke Town and even won a National League South player of the month award in the 2014/15 season.

He then signed for Gosport in the summer of 2016 following Basingstoke's relegation. However, he picked up a knee injury which required a minor operation and some time on the sidelines,
returning with 4 goals in 5 games before leaving Gosport for Slough.

Scored 12 times in the 2016/17 season, including a hat-trick in a 6-0 win at Leamington.

The following season, he scored 24 times as Slough won promotion to National League South via the playoffs.

He previously appeared for Salisbury in August 2009 and has also played for Crawley Town, Forest Green Rovers, Dorchester Town and Queens Park Rangers.
