Marcus Mealing has decided to leave Bostik League South Central club Marlow to join up with the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South side Walton Casuals.
Mealing returned to the club again earlier this season from Thame United and had once again been an important part of the Marlow attack, contributing 5 goals in 11 appearances.
He had been with the Blues since 2009 apart from a spell in 2014 when he was at Holmer Green and Thame United.
He has also been on dual registration with Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division outfit Chertsey Town as well as Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division duo Highmoor-Ibis and Burnham.
He then left for Egham Town before returning to Marlow again in March 2018.
Ironically, Mealing played his 250th game for Marlow against Egham in November 2017, scoring twice, before making the move to the Runnymede Stadium.
Clearly, the opportunity to test himself at Step 3 is something that Mealing has been working towards, and the financial package on offer was not something that Marlow could compete with as a club.
