Frome Town signed the experienced Jordan Rogers from Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South rivals Tiverton Town in time for him to make a goalscoring debut in the 1-1 draw with Poole Town on Saturday.
The striker left Tivvy citing that he needed a "fresh challenge".
Rogers numbers Taunton Town and Yate Town amongst his former clubs as well as previous spells with Tiverton.
Manager Danny Greaves is delighted to have secured the signing of the experienced Rogers.
Greaves told his club`s website: He is a proven goalscorer at this level and will undoubtedly strengthen us in that department and complement the forwards we already have.
"Since his decision to leave Tiverton last week, he had a number of good offers, but I am delighted he has chosen this challenge."
Rogers said: "I've really enjoyed my time at Tivvy, especially thankful for the support I received during my injury. Now looking forward to a new challenge and helping Frome push up the league by scoring some goals”.
