Royston Town FC - The CSS League Challenge Cup

Royston Town FC has been expelled from this season's Competition.

Following the Club being charged with fielding an ineligible player in their Third Round tie against Lowestoft Town FC, Royston Town FC were found guilty and expelled from the competition. As a result Lowestoft Town were reinstated.

Royston Town FC decided to take up their right to appeal the decision to the FA and that Appeal was heard on Thursday 22nd March at the FA, Wembley. The Appeal was dismissed by the FA.

As a result the Fourth Round tie, Lowestoft Town versus Berkhamsted will be played on Tuesday 2nd April with the semi-final ties taking place on Tuesday 9th April with the Final tie date(s) to be decided due to protracted scheduling of this season's competition through two appeals for playing ineligible players. The draw for the semi-final ties will be made following the conclusion of the Fourth Round tie on Tuesday 2nd April.
